The World Health Organization (WHO) has said that "the likelihood of further spread of Omicron at the global level is high," and there could be future surges that could have "severe consequences."īut it is too early to tell if Omicron is more deadly than its granddaddy COVID. New cases were also detected in Scotland, Portugal, Netherlands, Hong Kong, and Australia. I found the part # online using AGCO parts lookup.According to the Associated Press, researchers in South Africa were the first to detect this new variant but it didn't stay in Africa for long. Waiting on parts so it’s still all apart. From there you can slid the casing piece upwards and off the shaft then simply punch out the seal. After that flip it upside down and you’ll see a large snap ring inside that has to come out of its groove. From there I removed the snap ring around the seal using a pick tool, and some small flat screwdrivers. So first I took the 4 bolts out of the front that holds the front case part and slid the part out from the rest of the case. I didn’t think to take pictures as I went but I got some after it’s all apart that will help anyone disassemble theirs. So I got my pump disassembled and the seal out. Trying to fix it up good and right this time lol, with my luck something will still break though : ( Also doing a brand new knife and new guards as well. With the dry year we had here last Year and somewhat this year got about an extra 90 acres I can cut now, so more wear. Ha I didn't think this would come up again but I'll keep that in mind, going to get it off here real soon once I'm done with the field work.Īnything that will make it last longer I'm in for it. I'm not sure, to be honest.įound another internet photo, of a picture when front section was removed (I'll add to this reply ) Edited by 4WD 16:29 Edit: maybe that is looking from the rear, too because I see aluminum in the front of his photo. I can't remember to much about 1014 PTO repair (other than I did buy a new 540 center drive piece and lip seal ), but I did find this thread with another photo of internal view = looks like he was able to disassemble "from the front". Does that come out? I haven’t looked at it much, just a quick glance

I stumbled across this post while looking at how to fix my lip seal leak on my Heston 1014 and am wondering how to dissasmble it? I’ve taken the 4 bolts out that hold the the front piece of the pump to the main body and it looks like there’s a snap ring in there. Use a seal conditioner like when you re-assemble. If I remember correctly, I changed the lip seal and the shaft part (that seal lip rides on ), that has the 540 splines in it.

I did one, and it must have been in 2012, ( per photo download date. Plan to re-build the pump over winter but don't want to take it apart now because I don't have the time and don't want to wait for parts unless I have to. I run it all day most times, so I can check and fill each morning. Is it ok to run it like this? I have around 500 acres to do yet this year. It leaks when you have it on the PTO shaft, but when you take it off it doesn't leak. On the hydraulic pump it is leaking from where the pump connects to the tractors PTO shaft (where it is bored out for the spines ).
